The Highland Explorer Tour

This single day tour is designed to take you 'away from the crowds' and will take you on some of the roads less travelled within the North Highlands. If you have time to spare this could be a wonderful addition to your North Coast 500 tour or a great day trip from a central or east coast base.

  • Loth Viewpoint – sweeping views along the Strath of Kildonan

  • Gunn’s Leap – hear the tale of the ill fated Henry Gunn

  • Baile An Or – site of ‘The Town of Gold’

  • Kirk of Kildonan – central to the story of the Highland Clearances

  • Straths Naver & Kildonan – soak up the peace of these picturesque river valleys
